History of Challenge Coins - $10
Challenge Coins surfaced during the World War II era. The practice of carrying a coin designed specifically for a unit was popular with the Army Special Forces. Carrying the coin at all times and presenting it when challenged to prove affiliation with that unit resulted in a number of consequences for those who could not produce a coin - the most popular required the coinless soldier to buy a round of drinks. That practice continues to be popular today.

September 11th by Jamie Wyeth

 - $450
September 11 artwork by Jaimie Wyeth Wyeth created the scene based on the famous photograph of the three firefightere who found and hoisted a flag at Ground Zero in th rubble of the World Trade Center which was savagely attacked by terrorist on September 11, 2001. Click image to enlarge.

After 6 grueling hours digging in the rubble for survivors, firefighters, police and volunteers got the call to evacuate immediately. As FDNY Firefighter Dan McWilliams headed out with the rest, he spotted a flag flying from a yacht docked behind the World Financial Center. He quickly made his way to the boat, rolled the flag around its pole to be sure it didn't touch the ground, and carried it back to the evacuation area. McWilliams passed his buddy, Firefighter George Johnson, and asked, "Gimme a hand, willya George?" Firefighter Billy Eisengrein jumped in and also offered to help. The three Firefighters quickly found a perfect spot-a single flagpole anchored in the rubble about 20 feet off the ground on West Street. They climbed a makeshift ramp so they could easily raise the flag to it's new home. This prints have been matted and framed with medallions of the New York Fire and Police Departments.
