Commissioners present check for $105,000 for Kennett Area Senior Center Renovations

The Commissioners, together with staff, board members, volunteers and area seniors, cut a ribbon today to mark the completion of renovations at the Kennett Area Senior Center. Chester County contributed $105,000 towards the Senior Center’s renovations, including repaving, re-striping and lighting of the parking lot, new entrance doors, curbing and new sidewalks, and new flooring. The Kennett Area Senior Center has been operating for 43 years, and is one of six senior centers that provide valuable programs and services to Chester County’s senior citizens.
